About Ideal 2604 Security Level P4 Crosscut Shredder
The IDEAL 2604 range of office shredding machines are our most popular shred solution. They are designed as a centralised office shredder with a high shred performance of up to 32 sheets at a time. Suitable for continuous operation and benefitting from the Ideal SPS (Safety Protection System) technology the Ideal 2604 is ideal for any office environment.
The Ideal 2604 also has the new “EASY SWITCH” and special capacity indication system (ECC) enabling continuous feeding without creating paper jams. Auto reverse and power cut off all comes as standard on the Ideal 2604, all further protecting the machine from damage in the event of overloading. With a Powerful 640W motor, 260mm feed opening and practical shred bin with 100 litres capacity.

The IDEAL Easy Switch controls the operation of the IDEAL 2604 shredder, providing a visual indication of its status. The Ideal 2604 is the first machine in the Ideal range to incorporate the ECC (Electronic Capacity Control) Technology. This simple system indicates the used sheet capacity during the shredding process, thus optimising your shredding volume and speed. The safety flap prevents unwanted items entering the shredder whilst the automatic stop and reverse functions are activated when the paper jams. Further safety devices on the door are activated when opened or when the 100 litre bag is full. On standby mode, the shredder begins operation when the photo cell detects paper and stops again when the paper has been fed. The 260mm opening will accept up to 32 sheets of 70gsm paper.
